The Younus College of Engineering for women was started in the year 2010, by Fathima Memorial Educational Trust, at Thalachira, Kottarakara, Kollam. This is a Self financing Engineering College in the private sector, recognised by Govt. of Kerala and approved by All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi. The College is affiliated to the University of Kerala. We are committed to promote and propagate quality and value based education at par with international standards. The Fathima Memorial Educational Trust was established on 26-10-1991 with reg: number 292 in accordance with section 02 of the charitable societies.The objective of the trust is to uplift the minority and down-trodden people in the society and not for any profit motive, for the weal and welfare of the people.The chairman of our institution is Dr. A Younus Kunju Ex.M.L.A , a Philanthropist, businessman, educationalist, politician whose sphereheads many social and cultural organisations in his native district of kollam and all over kerala.
